ME
ABOUT
I am a multi-hyphenate artist, gifted in many ways, with a foundation rooted in school, church, and community theater. My artistic journey led me to study as a theatre major at Morgan State University, and I've had the privilege of being a young artist with La Musica Lirica, New York Lyric Opera Theatre, and a resident artist with Opera North.
This season, I return to Opera Columbus in my second year as the Crane Directing Fellow. I’m also starting the 2024-2025 season directing The Grand Duchess of Gerolstein with the Victorian Lyric Opera Company. This season will feature more of my own self-produced works, concerts, and exciting returns to familiar companies.
Throughout my career, I’ve performed on Broadway, in regional theaters, and in spaces around the world. Having worked in nearly every role as a theatre practitioner, I continue to draw on these experiences to fuel my creative endeavors.
At the core of my work is a strong belief that God lives in all of us, and I use my art to express that divine connection. Whether I’m directing, performing, or mentoring, I aim to create work that uplifts, inspires, and connects
